Is there any age limit for IELTS?

There is no age limit for IELTS; however it is not recommended for candidates under the age of 16

What will happen if I am late or absent?

You will not be permitted to sit the examination if you arrive late. Refund of the test fee will NOT be made in this case or to any absent candidates. However, In case of an absence due to illness, the candidate must present a valid, genuine medical certificate from a HOSPITAL to the IELTS staff on the test day or the following working day ONLY. The postponement can only be made ONCE to the next available session. A postponement fee of 800 Baht or a cancellation fee of 1,500 Baht will be charged.

For how long is a test result valid?

There are a number of variables affecting the length of time over which an IELTS score remains valid. In general, the result is valid for 2 years.

When will I know the IELTS results?

You can collect the original Test Report Form (TRF), by YOURSELF, from the test centre 13 days after the test date. ORIGINAL Thai National ID card or passport is required. Photocopy or other types of identity (eg. Driving license or บัตรข้าราชการ) are NOT accepted.

Can somebody get IELTS result on my behalf?

If someone else will be collecting your TRF for you, a signed copy of your proof of identity and a signed letter of authority (in English) must be given to our staff at the Registration Desk.
The authorized person is also need to present their ORIGINAL Thai national ID card/passport to our staff. Again, photo copy or other types of identity (eg. Driving license or บัตรข้าราชการ) are NOT accepted

What to do if I would like to make a comment about test day delivery?

If you wish to leave feedback or lodge a complaint about any aspect of IELTS test delivery, please do so by filling in the form available at the IELTS registration desk (at IDP office) or ask one of our test day invigilators for a copy of the form. We will get back to you within 48 hours after receiving the completed form.
